2seconds is designed to work with your media on your device. The app helps you choose, trim, prepare, and export short daily clips from your Photos library, camera recordings, imported files, and Live Photos. There are no accounts, no ads, no third-party analytics, and no tracking.
2seconds does not collect your media or project content for developer use. The app has no app accounts, no developer-run backend storage, no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs, no tracking SDKs, and no support-upload flow.
Crash, hang, and performance diagnostics are sent to Sentry so the developer can keep the app reliable. Those diagnostics are not used for advertising or tracking and are not linked to any account. Your media and project data are processed locally on your device or stored in your app container; finished exports go to your Photos library only when you choose to export.
2seconds uses SwiftData CloudKit sync with your private iCloud app data. Sync is controlled entirely by your Apple ID and iCloud settings; the developer cannot read your synced data. Nothing is stored in developer-readable, public, or shared databases.
If you enable reminders or the daily Back in Time notification, the app schedules local notifications on your device. Notification settings are stored with app preferences.
Sentry is used for crash and diagnostic reporting only. There are no third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or tracking SDKs in the app.
You can remove selected clips, prepared clips, stale local media, export copies, and cached thumbnails from within the app's Settings. Deleting the app removes its local container data per standard iOS behavior. Movies you saved to Photos remain in Photos unless you delete them there. Synced app data can be removed by deleting the app's iCloud data in iOS Settings.
