Open iOS Settings → 2seconds and confirm Photos access is allowed. With Limited access, add the missing items to your allowed selection — Back in Time and the day grid refresh automatically.
Open iOS Settings → 2seconds and confirm Photos add-only permission is allowed, and that the device has enough free storage for the finished movie. If an export was interrupted, Resume finishes it without re-rendering completed work.
Open iOS Settings → 2seconds and confirm Camera and Microphone permissions. Recording without sound is available if you keep audio off.
Confirm the device is signed in to iCloud, iCloud Drive is on, and the network is reachable. Offline edits stay local until the device reconnects. Sync status is shown in the app's Settings.
Use Settings in 2seconds to review and clear prepared clips, stale local media, export copies, and the thumbnail cache. Movies saved to Photos stay in Photos until you delete them there.
Check that notifications are allowed for 2seconds in iOS Settings, and that Reminders or the Daily Rewind notification are switched on in the app's Settings. The Back in Time notification fires only on days that actually have material from past years.
